Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Segmenta (the "Service"), an online computer-assisted translation tool that segments documents, drafts translations with machine and AI engines, revises them, runs quality checks and lets human linguists edit and verify the output. The Service is provided by Alba Global Group shpk ("we", "us"). When you use the Service you are contracting with Alba Global Group shpk.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age.

2. Your account

Keep your credentials confidential and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including:

4. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the Service, including software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan. You keep ownership of the documents, translation memories and glossaries you upload and of the translations produced; you grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the Service. Rights-holders may report infringing content to info@albaglobal.com; we may remove it and suspend repeat infringers.

5. AI output

Translations, revisions and quality scores are generated automatically and may contain errors. You are responsible for your inputs, for verifying output accuracy and for how you use it. Output is not a substitute for qualified professional review in legal, medical or other regulated contexts. We may restrict or remove content and refuse outputs that breach these terms.

6. Service level

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, renewal and cancellation are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. After termination you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits, data or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

10. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Albania, and the courts of Tirana have jurisdiction. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Questions: info@albaglobal.com.
